Spectacular and ultra-fast, this discipline, which originated in Canada, has over 20,000 members in France. If you want to strap on your skates in the capital and shoot the puck, this is the place to do it!

The flying French

Founded in 1933 by the pioneering Jacques Lacarrière, the French Flying Club is one of the oldest in the country. After disappearing in 1948, it rose from the ashes in 1965. Since then, the senior team has played mainly in the3rd and4th national echelons.
At the same time, it has established itself as one of the capital's top training clubs. Its field hockey school is open to all, from the age of 3. Power skating courses (intensive skating lessons) are also organized to help skaters improve their skills on the ice.
Training takes place at the Accor Arena ice rink (12th arrondissement) - or POPB for nostalgic fans - the home of the flying French for forty years!

ACBB Hockey sur glace

Forty-nine disciplines, 33 sections, over 10,000 members… the Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt (ACBB) is a veritable institution in Western Paris. Among the (very) many sports on offer at the club, ice hockey occupies a special place.
In the 1960s, the ACBB was one of the driving forces behind the sport in France. Nowadays, the first team no longer occupies centre stage, but the club continues to shine through its highly reputed field hockey school, which has been awarded the label of the French Ice Hockey Federation (FFHG).
The ACBB welcomes girls and boys aged 3 and over, and offers trial sessions. All training takes place at Boulogne-Billancourt's municipal skating rink, a modern ice rink easily accessible by metro.
